A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Study
The Government of Georgia, led by the Ministry of Finance, replaced a fragmented mix of outdated and unsupported software by signing a national Enterprise Agreement with Microsoft covering all central and local agencies and more than 30,000 civil servants. The move addressed rising issues with data storage, inefficient business processes, and a national commitment to intellectual property rights and e‑government modernization.
Under the agreement Georgia deployed Microsoft desktop and back‑office technologies (including Enterprise and Pro desktop seats, SQL Server and Dynamics), centralized systems and databases, and access to training and software assurance. Early results included automated and improved business processes, faster information exchange between agencies, administrative cost savings, better technical support and compatibility, and strengthened IPR compliance and data security.
