Golden State Foods, a major foodservice supplier, needed to replace a 25-year-old legacy ERP system running its Liquid Products division across multiple plants and prepare for a new facility. The company wanted a modern, cloud-based platform to unify data, standardize processes, and improve reporting and operations, so it evaluated several options and chose Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 was implemented across all three plants, supporting finance, supply chain, quality, warehouse, and asset management processes. The result was better visibility across facilities, faster quality testing, improved traceability, reduced manual paperwork, and more efficient procurement and maintenance; GSF also cut update downtime to under an hour and gained reporting that helped managers plan for five-day work weeks instead of seven.
