Hexion, a global chemical manufacturer, needed a faster, more flexible way to streamline sales and other business processes after moving from Salesforce to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales. Its teams wanted an easy way to capture business card data at events, keep customer information accurate, and support rapid app delivery across sales, marketing, and IT.
Using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Hexion built the ScanIt Power Apps solution with AI Builder to scan business cards and save contact details into its CRM workflow. The solution was built in less than six weeks and scanned more than 250 cards in its first week, while helping improve data quality, enable mobile use at trade shows, and reduce reliance on third-party tools.
