A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Study

Preview of the The Drop Case Study

For suit e-tailer The Drop AI is the perfect fit

The Drop is a UK startup that sells on‑demand, made‑to‑measure menswear and aims to recreate the in‑store personal shopping experience online. Because every order is highly customized—customers pick styles, tweaks and provide 10 measurements that generate 22 fit variables—the business amassed complex data and found manual processes couldn’t scale to meet individual quirks and growing demand.

Working with Microsoft and partner The Pull Agency, The Drop built three AI models—measurement error detection, measurements from photos, and a 3D render from two photos—deployed on Azure after a Microsoft AI hackathon. The solutions integrated quickly with existing systems, speeding production, streamlining the supply chain, and augmenting staff workflows. Early results include faster operations, stronger investor interest with a closed seed round, and continued customer growth (about 2,000 suits sold to 1,700 customers).
