The Australian Finance Industry Association (AFIA) needed a modern way to manage member communications and engagement after relying on spreadsheets and scattered knowledge, which left gaps in member data and made it hard to act quickly. Working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing, AFIA sought a simple, intuitive platform to create a single source of truth for member information and support its small team.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 implemented Dynamics 365 Marketing in a phased rollout, integrating it with Office 365 and later Stripe and event management tools. The result was faster, more frequent, and more personalized communications, automated event follow-ups, richer member insights, and improved compliance tracking. AFIA also gained reporting on open and click-through rates, eliminated manual payment and confirmation delays, and was able to pivot smoothly to virtual events during COVID.
