Cornwall Council, a unitary authority serving 550,000 residents, needed a stronger way to unite data from more than 600 source systems and create a single view of citizens, employees, and council operations. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights helped Cornwall Council quickly build a golden record for employee data, proving the approach with a fast proof of concept and clear match-and-merge results. The council said it cut time by 50%, released 600 licences earlier than expected, and saved £200k in about six months, with around 400% ROI; it is now extending the same Microsoft Dynamics 365 approach to citizen and debt records.
