Dynamics 365 shines spotlight on domestic violence for DVAC

The Domestic Violence Action Centre (DVAC) is a medium-sized Australian nonprofit serving the Ipswich and Toowoomba regions, supporting 800–1,000 people each quarter. DVAC faced fragmented, largely paper-based records that forced survivors to repeatedly retell traumatic histories, hampered crisis intake efficiency, and made it hard to access accurate, timely information for safety planning and mandatory reporting.

Working with Microsoft and partner Beyond CRM, DVAC deployed cloud-based Dynamics 365 to create a secure, central case repository with Outlook integration and tools for remote access. The solution gives authorised staff instant access to case notes, risk assessments and communications, streamlines reporting, supports evidence for court, enables better analytics and rural outreach, and reduces the need for clients to repeat their stories, helping more people get timely support.
