A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Study
Boys & Girls Clubs of America, a national nonprofit with about 4,300 Club locations serving roughly 4 million young people, faced growing pains from a decade of expansion: aging legacy IT, frequent datacenter outages, a website with too much downtime, and inadequate data protection that limited the organization’s ability to scale services and reach more youth. Leadership prioritized modernizing infrastructure to support expanded programs, online engagement, and stricter privacy requirements.
Working with Microsoft, BGCA moved core services to Azure, adopted Office 365 and Dynamics 365, and deployed Office 365 E3 with Digital Loss Prevention and 24/7 cloud backups. The cloud migration delivered stronger disaster resilience (operations continued during Hurricane Irma), cut website downtime by about 85% to 99.9%+ uptime, launched the Dynamics-powered MyFuture platform with 11,000+ youth users, and tightened data security and compliance—enabling more reliable, scalable service for staff, members, and families.
