Community Justice Centre provides access to free legal and social aid

Community Justice Centre (CJC) is a Singapore voluntary welfare organisation that provides free legal and social assistance to litigants‑in‑person who cannot afford representation, supported by about 700 volunteer lawyers and paralegals but a very small core team. Faced with growing caseloads and the need to coordinate volunteers, donors, court appearances and cross‑agency social referrals with limited resources, CJC needed a way to manage time, scheduling and client information more efficiently.

CJC implemented the Donor and Volunteer Engagement (DoVE) platform built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, giving the team integrated case, donor and volunteer management plus mobile, cloud access for on‑the‑go use in court. The platform improved visibility into cases and fundraising, streamlined resource scheduling and cross‑agency coordination, and helped CJC handle a record 10,000+ cases in 2014 with projected growth, while enabling better donor targeting and more effective client outcomes.
