Case Study: IMEL (Chilean electrical parts maker) achieves integrated cloud operations and ~50% infrastructure savings with Microsoft Dynamics 365

A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Study

Preview of the IMEL Case Study

Chilean company that produces electrical parts integrates its operations via cloud-based software services

IMEL is a Chilean maker of electrical parts that markets switches and outlets under the Sinthesi brand. Founded in 2015 by the Marisio family, the company needed an ERP from the start to control supply, production, invoicing and finance while keeping processes automated, easily customizable and integrable to support planned growth without heavy upfront infrastructure costs.

IMEL implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP hosted on Microsoft Azure with guidance from partner Axxon. The cloud deployment eliminated large capital server investments, cut infrastructure costs to roughly USD 400/month (about a 50% saving versus alternatives), and delivered higher availability, backups and remote access. The solution standardized and integrated finance, sales, logistics and production, improved distribution, planning and traceability, and set the stage for CRM and reporting additions to support projected revenue growth.
