A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Study
Bury Group is a 2,000-employee manufacturer and long-standing supplier to major automotive brands (Volkswagen Group, BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, GM, Suzuki) with sites in Poland, Germany and Mexico. Facing stringent industry audits and OTIF (on-time, in-full) requirements, the company needed an ERP that could handle complex, dual-mode production (serial and custom design), strict traceability (batch/serial tracking, laser marking), EDI document exchange, multi-site logistics and consolidated accounting and control across continents.
Bury implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX with XPLUS as implementation partner; more than 800 users have been working on the system for over a year. The rollout covered purchasing, production planning and execution, WMS, sales/EDI, projects and finance, with mobile shop-floor handling and integration to automation systems. The solution improved production control, traceability and resource allocation, strengthened compliance with customer audit requirements and helped optimize operations while supporting the group’s customer engagement and digital transformation goals.
