Trion Group, a Philadelphia–based employee benefits consultant, was frustrated by low adoption of its GoldMine CRM and by duplicate work as staff toggled between GoldMine and Outlook. Working with Microsoft partner Neudesic, Trion deployed Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online—integrated with Outlook and supported by automated workflows and a Silverlight/Azure tool—within weeks. The online solution doubled sales efficiency, cut weekly forecasting from four hours to 20 minutes (and eliminated roughly 70 hours a month of manual data work), lowered IT and deployment costs, and delivered better sales visibility and marketing ROI.
