Avail transforms recruiting in the driving industry with Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365-based solution from Perfect Image

Avail is a UK startup that set out to speed up and cut costs in heavy goods vehicle (HGV) recruitment by building two complementary apps—one for haulers to find drivers and one for drivers to find work. Founder Erin Short partnered with Perfect Image to turn the idea into a product, addressing the challenge of creating an intuitive, secure system for a typically technology‑averse user base and needing cloud infrastructure and CRM to support growth.

Perfect Image built the apps using Microsoft Azure for scalable, secure hosting and Dynamics 365 for CRM, following an iterative design process and simple UI/UX. The live platform automates timesheets, improves matching, and helps haulers save about £5,000 per year while drivers earn roughly an extra £2,500; Azure credits and Dynamics user licenses also eased startup costs, positioning Avail to scale across the HGV market.
