A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Study
The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), the EU’s pioneering online gaming regulator based in SmartCity, Malta, oversees roughly 250 international operators with more than 490 active licenses. Confronted with multiple data sources, paper-based workflows and legacy systems that slowed license applications, tax reporting and compliance audits, the MGA sought to digitize core processes to improve transparency, efficiency and ease of doing business for operators.
Working with Microsoft, the MGA implemented a secure web portal built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Adxstudio Portals that uses prepopulated e-forms, automated workflows and an interactive dashboard. The system gives operators real-time visibility into application status, reduces repetitive data entry and errors, provides a 360-degree view of operator data for faster decision-making, and lays the groundwork for extending digital services and analytics across land-based gaming sectors.
