AUEB helps students compete in the job market with Microsoft Learn for Educators

Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), a leading business school in Greece, faced the challenge of keeping its Department of Management Science and Technology (DMST) curriculum aligned with modern industry needs so graduates could compete in the job market. The department needed to introduce hands-on training in current enterprise technologies and scale faculty capability to teach tools like ERP systems, analytics, and cloud platforms.

DMST adopted Microsoft Learn for Educators and integrated Azure, Dynamics 365, and Power BI into courses with dedicated labs and instructor resources, plus free certification paths for students. The initiative drove strong student demand and participation, helped more than 80% of students secure jobs before graduation, and is expected to certify over 250 students by year’s end—prompting plans to expand these offerings across other departments.
