Microsoft Corporation implemented a blockchain-based solution on Microsoft Azure Blockchain Service, with Azure Cosmos DB and Power BI supporting data access and visualization. The result was a dramatic improvement: royalty information became available in minutes, new publishers could be onboarded in less than 15 minutes, and 70% of Xbox Finance Operations effort was shifted away from reconciliation toward more strategic tasks.
