WWF Brazil focuses on saving the planet with more efficient project management

WWF Brazil, part of WWF’s long-running conservation work in the Amazon and other biodiverse regions, needed a better way to manage projects and reporting across five offices. Its spreadsheet-based, manual processes were slow, error-prone, and made it difficult to show donors the value of their investments. WWF turned to Microsoft Corporation’s Microsoft Project Online to improve visibility, coordination, and accountability.

Microsoft Corporation implemented Microsoft Project Online alongside Microsoft Power BI and Office 365, centralizing project data and enabling near real-time KPI tracking and reporting. In less than a year, WWF Brazil was managing 98 projects, covering 85% of its operations, while cutting report-preparation time dramatically and improving donor trust. The organization also reported a 10% increase in productivity.
