MTI, a Japanese research and technology company, needed to move its corporate website away from on-premises servers after its previous operations provider went out of business. With Microsoft Corporation’s Azure cloud platform, MTI also wanted to improve website security and speed while keeping costs down and ensuring its WordPress environment stayed current.

Microsoft Corporation, working through Azure and KUSANAGI for Microsoft Azure, helped MTI migrate and run its site on pre-tuned Azure Virtual Machines from the Azure Marketplace. The result was stronger security, faster page loads and admin performance, smoother publishing, and lower operating fees, while also eliminating the burden of maintaining on-premises servers.
