Warsaw School of Economics establishes itself as a model university with Microsoft cloud technology

Szkoła Główna Handlowa w Warszawie, Poland’s oldest university of economics, needed a secure, efficient way to modernize IT for more than 26,000 student and employee accounts while meeting strict data protection and compliance requirements. Working with Microsoft Corporation and its cloud services, including Office 365, Exchange Online, and Azure Active Directory, SGH set out to support digital learning without disrupting operations.

Microsoft Corporation helped SGH migrate email to Exchange Online, roll out OneDrive and Office 365, implement Power BI, upgrade to Windows 10, and strengthen security and device management with tools such as Cloud App Security, Advanced Threat Protection, Intune, and SCCM. The results included a seamless cloud transition, better analytics for decision-making, stronger cybersecurity, easier remote access and updates, and measurable efficiency gains in time and cost, making SGH one of Poland’s most advanced universities in digital technology.
