Virgin Active South Africa completes move to Office 365

Virgin Active South Africa, a large fitness club chain, sought to reduce the total cost of ownership for its email system and lay a foundation for cloud-based productivity applications. The customer worked with Microsoft and its partner NBConsult to address this challenge and begin its transition to a digital workspace using Microsoft Office 365.

Microsoft, through its partner, implemented Office 365, focusing first on migrating email to the cloud. This solution provided a standardized, secure platform accessible from any device. The results were significant, reducing the number of on-premise services by 75 percent and considerably lowering the IT support burden. This migration unlocked efficiencies, freed up internal capacity to focus on customer-facing systems, and initiated a successful cultural shift towards the cloud for the organization.
