Gonzaga University needed a better way to visualize and share Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager data across the institution, so IT teams and business stakeholders could access information without requiring custom reports or extensive training. The university turned to Microsoft Corporation, using Power BI with Configuration Manager to make IT operations data more understandable and self-service.

Microsoft Corporation implemented a Power BI solution template that created interactive, web- and mobile-friendly dashboards showing client and server health, software updates, protection, and software inventory. The result was deeper visibility into applications and devices across Gonzaga University’s network, easier compliance tracking for licensing, and faster identification of unauthorized software, while extending the value of the university’s existing Configuration Manager investment.
