Newcastle University, a large UK higher education institution, was struggling to help students, staff, and research partners collaborate effectively across campuses and with external groups. Already using Microsoft Office 365, the university needed a more modern toolset, and turned to Microsoft Teams from Microsoft Corporation to improve communication and teamwork.
Microsoft Corporation implemented Microsoft Teams to support collaboration inside the university and with outside research partners. The result was faster, easier project work for students and highly effective coordination for large research groups, including projects with up to 150 members. Newcastle University reported that Teams helped students get work done more efficiently and enabled them to grow and reach their potential.
