A Microsoft Corporation Case Study
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), through its Risk Management Agency, needed a better way to manage insurance policyholder and provider information across multiple nonintegrated systems. Using Microsoft Corporation’s Dynamics CRM 2013, USDA struggled to speed up case management, improve reporting, and gain a clear view of performance across its crop insurance operations.
Microsoft Corporation, working with partner Ascentium, implemented the Compliance Activities and Results System (CARS) on Microsoft Dynamics CRM with integration to SharePoint and SQL Server. The solution centralized data, added role-based dashboards, and automated reporting, helping USDA cut key report creation time by up to 80 percent, reduce a weekly report from five hours to one, and improve compliance and case resolution with a 360-degree view of each account.
