Case Study: Uniper achieves a more secure, agile digital workplace with Microsoft Corporation’s Microsoft 365

Uniper uses Microsoft 365 to power energy and business transformation with faster, more efficient, new ways of working

Uniper, the Germany-based energy company with more than 10,000 employees, needed greater operational agility without compromising security or stability as it navigated rapid industry change. Working with Microsoft Corporation and partner G&K, Uniper chose Microsoft 365 to modernize its workplace, improve collaboration, and support its “My Digital Workplace” transformation program.

Microsoft Corporation and G&K implemented Microsoft 365 along with Windows 10, Microsoft Teams, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection to deliver a more secure and flexible environment. The rollout helped Uniper provision machines and apps in hours instead of days or weeks, and by July 2019 more than 3,000 employees were using Teams for communication and collaboration, with positive user feedback across the business.
