Unified, global CRM fuels new sales strategy based on real-time data

AluK, a global aluminum building systems designer and manufacturer, faced challenges due to its disconnected operations and nine different siloed CRM systems worldwide. This fragmentation made it difficult to plan, share best practices, and gain a single view of international sales data, hindering the launch of a global sales strategy. To address this, AluK turned to vendor Microsoft Corporation and its Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution to create a unified and consistent global sales database.

Microsoft, working with partner Prodware, implemented a single Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM system across all nine countries, which was customized to manage sales pipelines and goals. The solution provided real-time, consolidated data accessible from the field to the CEO. The results included faster, more accurate decision-making, better sales pipeline visibility, and the refocusing of local IT efforts. The company is now expanding the platform to include customer service and marketing for a complete 360-degree customer view.
