UK specialist mortgage lender adopts Azure to transform how it delivers mortgages

Belmont Green, a UK specialist mortgage lender, needed a more secure, scalable platform as it grew beyond the limits of its private cloud and sought to improve a fragmented, slow mortgage process. To support its strategic and regulatory requirements, Belmont Green turned to Microsoft Corporation’s Azure and the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure.

Microsoft Corporation, working with partner New Signature, helped Belmont Green build Azure landing zones, governance models, security controls, and an operating model for cloud adoption. The lender launched its first production workload, a data analytics platform, within six weeks of setup, and completed the initial cloud setup in three months—creating a foundation for faster decision-making, improved efficiency, and a more seamless mortgage journey.
