Turkish social initiative propels skilled women back to work after a career break

YenidenBiz is a Turkish NGO and social initiative focused on helping highly qualified women return to work after career breaks, in a labor market where female participation remains low. To scale its mission and support more candidates and volunteers, YenidenBiz turned to Microsoft Corporation and its Dynamics 365, PowerApps, and Azure-based solution, implemented with partner Genbil.

Microsoft Corporation helped YenidenBiz deploy a digital HR platform that lets women submit CVs through a portal, have them reviewed and matched to training or jobs, and connect directly with employers. The result was faster CV processing, with efficiency doubled versus manual handling, over 1,500 CVs in the database, and 200 women already back in work through the platform, with a target of 5,000 CVs in five years.
