TUKU makes car buying fun with help from Azure services

TUKU, a Canadian technology company, faced the challenge of helping auto dealerships engage with a growing number of showroom visitors who were using their smartphones for research and preferred not to speak with a salesperson immediately. They partnered with Microsoft to leverage its Azure cloud services to build a solution.

The solution was the TUKU AutoTour contactless mobile marketing system, built on Microsoft Azure services like App Service Web Apps, SQL Server, and DocumentDB. This allowed TUKU to quickly deploy a scalable platform that provided shoppers with instant access to vehicle information and gave dealers valuable insights into buyer behavior. The system was successfully launched at Competition Toyota in just two-and-a-half months, enhancing the customer experience and providing the dealership with critical presales data.
