Travel technology startup goes to market three times faster with Microsoft Azure and Node.js

Hotailors, a Warsaw-based travel technology startup, needed to move faster with new features and supplier integrations while operating with a small team and limited resources. The company chose Microsoft Corporation’s Azure platform, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Machine Learning, and Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit, to support its hotel-booking SaaS service.

Microsoft Corporation helped Hotailors implement a serverless architecture and machine learning-based image classification to improve search relevance and automate supplier integrations. The result was a reduction in supplier integration time from four to six weeks to about two weeks, enabling developers to integrate three times as many new suppliers in the same amount of time and improving service performance and scalability.
