Transparent security and easy administration of thousands of cloud-connected units at KMD

KMD, one of Denmark's largest IT companies, faced the challenge of migrating its 3,200 employees and partners to the cloud. They needed to securely accommodate thousands of mobile devices, prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data, and eliminate cumbersome log-on procedures while allowing employees to use their preferred devices. Microsoft, with partner Lumagate, provided a solution centered around the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite.

The implemented solution used Azure AD for secure authentication and Microsoft Intune to monitor and maintain the compliance of all devices. This allowed employees to work seamlessly from any location and device while giving KMD the ability to remotely wipe corporate data and ensure all devices were secure. Microsoft's technology provided a transparent security foundation, empowering employees without compromising on safety and significantly reducing the administrative burden for the IT team.
