Webfleet, a growing telematics and location technology company, needed to scale its datacenter-based SAP environment as data volumes increased and aging hardware made expansion difficult. It wanted better reliability, security, and flexibility, and turned to Microsoft Corporation for a cloud-based path forward, using SAP on Microsoft Azure.

Microsoft Corporation, working with Ctac, helped migrate Webfleet’s SAP HANA, SAP ECC, and SAP Business Warehouse systems to Azure, with BizTalk also moved to virtual machines on the platform. The result was a smoother, more centralized environment that simplified IT management, reduced costs, and improved business continuity; the company migrated 20 systems and completed more than 100 SAP integrations, while now being able to spin up new systems in hours instead of weeks.
