Case Study: Duo+ achieves secure hybrid cloud collaboration with Microsoft Azure

Three Dutch cities build an alliance on the Microsoft cloud

Duo+, an alliance of three Dutch municipalities, faced the challenge of merging three separate IT infrastructures to improve administrative efficiency with a limited budget. Their goal was to create a unified, mobile-first platform for their 900 employees. To accomplish this, they partnered with Microsoft Corporation and IT partner InSpark to implement a hybrid cloud strategy.

Microsoft's solution centered on its Azure cloud platform, utilizing Azure Active Directory Premium, Microsoft Intune, and Office 365 to create a secure, centralized infrastructure. This enabled single sign-on, secure mobile access, and seamless collaboration. The result was the successful achievement of their "any device, anytime, anywhere" goal, allowing staff to work productively from any location without service disruption. The Microsoft solution also simplified IT management and provided cost-effective, pay-per-use scalability.
