Lufthansa Technik, the global aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul provider, needed a scalable way to move its AVIATAR digital platform to the cloud so it could handle growing airline data and support predictive maintenance worldwide. Using Microsoft Corporation Azure and Azure Data Lake Store, the company sought an open, flexible infrastructure that would work with its Red Hat and open-source technology stack.
