A Microsoft Corporation Case Study
Solera, a Texas-based software and data management company serving automotive and insurance customers worldwide, needed a more secure and scalable way to connect employees across business units, remote teams, and acquisitions. As the company grew rapidly through acquisitions, it wanted to replace fragmented third-party collaboration tools and legacy phone systems with a unified platform for messaging, meetings, file sharing, and easier administration.
Microsoft Corporation implemented Microsoft Teams, integrated with Office 365 and related Microsoft cloud services, to serve as Solera’s centralized collaboration hub. The rollout improved audio/video quality, boosted participation in chats, and replaced 600 Cisco phones with Teams Phone System, while cutting telephony provisioning time from 30 minutes to about 2 minutes and reducing IT troubleshooting and administrative burden.
