Swedish recruitment and staffing agency deepens collaboration and enables new ways of working

Academic Work, a Sweden-based recruitment and staffing company with nearly 2,000 employees across six countries, needed a better way to collaborate on Excel files and reduce the inefficiencies caused by traditional file servers and locked documents. Working with Microsoft Corporation, the company used Microsoft Teams along with Office 365 ProPlus, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, and Windows 10 to improve teamwork and support its growing, international workforce.

Microsoft Corporation helped Academic Work roll out Teams through interactive, scenario-based training and a branch-by-branch migration model, while also defining clear uses for OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams. The result was more than 1,100 regular Teams users, much less email, faster collaboration on spreadsheets with 15 to 20 people working at once, and a simpler cloud-based IT environment that reduced server management effort and improved efficiency.
