Jetwing Hotels, Sri Lanka’s largest family-owned travel and tourism group, needed to improve communication and collaboration across its multiple business lines and increasingly mobile workforce. The company had been using Zimbra, but large mailboxes caused speed and recovery issues, and file sharing lacked the governance controls needed to align with corporate policy. Jetwing turned to Microsoft Corporation and Office 365 to support its digital transformation.

Microsoft Corporation implemented Office 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Skype for Business, with support from DMS Electronics. The rollout enabled a smooth transition, better file control and sharing, and online meetings that reduced travel between locations. Jetwing reported higher employee mobility and productivity, and its IT team gained time to focus on strategic work like business intelligence and occupancy forecasting.
