Special Olympics turns stars of youth leadership program into constellations with Microsoft Teams

Special Olympics, a global inclusion movement based in Washington, DC, needed a better way to connect youth leaders with and without intellectual disabilities who were working in silos around the world. Working with Microsoft Corporation, the organization used Microsoft Teams to create a shared communication and collaboration space for its youth leadership program.

Microsoft Corporation implemented Teams so Unified pairs could meet, chat, share resources, and organize across borders through voice, video, and messaging. The result was stronger global collaboration, reduced isolation, and broader idea-sharing among youth leaders in more than 193 countries, helping Special Olympics scale inclusion and empowerment worldwide.
