Sparsholt College tackles digital skills gap with Microsoft Surface and Office 365

Sparsholt College, a UK further and higher education college, wanted to close a serious digital skills gap while giving staff and students access to modern learning technology. Working with Microsoft Corporation, the college adopted Microsoft Surface devices and Office 365 across its curriculum and became the first land-based college in the UK to open a Microsoft Academy.

Microsoft Corporation’s solution gave faculty greater flexibility to teach both in classrooms and out in the field, with Surface Pros supporting mobile, anywhere learning. The college also put 50 staff through the Microsoft Innovative Educator program and recruited three student Digital Champions, helping drive digital adoption across the organization. Staff described the transformation as “revolutionary.”
