Sivantos Group gives the gift of hearing with its scalable, cloud-based solution “Signia TeleCare”

Sivantos Group, a leading hearing aid manufacturer, wanted a scalable, global platform for its Signia TeleCare service to help people with untreated hearing loss access remote care. Its existing AWS-hosted PostgreSQL-based system needed to expand quickly into underserved markets while reducing management complexity and latency.

Microsoft Corporation helped Sivantos Group migrate the platform to Microsoft Azure Database for PostgreSQL, using a backup-and-restore move that transferred 20 GB of data with only 40 minutes of downtime. The result was a more scalable, consolidated cloud solution with global reach, enabling Sivantos Group to expand into markets like China and India and support plans for rapid future growth.
