Singapore school propels engaged, independent learning with powerful teaching tools

Tanglin Trust School in Singapore wanted to keep innovating in education while giving teachers and students better ways to collaborate, stay organized, and learn anywhere. To support this goal, the school adopted Microsoft OneNote and pen-enabled devices as part of its Microsoft Corporation software stack, including Office 365 and Windows 10.

Microsoft Corporation, working with partner Edukinect, helped Tanglin Trust School test and roll out OneNote Class Notebooks and Surface devices with training and technical support. The result was faster lesson sharing, better student access to materials, and more personalized feedback from teachers through typed, voiced, or inked comments. The school reported improved efficiency, stronger curriculum organization, and better progress tracking, while also building students’ independence, collaboration, and visual note-taking skills.
