Nakilat, a Qatari shipping and maritime company with one of the world’s largest LNG fleets, wanted to improve employee productivity and mobility without sacrificing data security. Microsoft Corporation helped Nakilat move key apps, websites, and infrastructure to Azure, strengthen identity and data protection with Azure Active Directory Premium and Cloud App Security, and improve collaboration with Microsoft 365. The results included a 50 percent reduction in operating costs, 99.5 percent uptime, stronger security controls, and better visibility into cloud app usage and employee activity.
