Setting a fast pace to the cloud College transforms IT in just six months

San Joaquin Valley College, a private junior college with multiple campuses and an online division, needed better uptime and simpler IT management for its learning management system and other infrastructure. The college also wanted to improve business intelligence and reduce the risk of service disruptions while moving from on-premises systems to Microsoft cloud services, including Azure and Office 365.

With help from Microsoft Corporation and Microsoft FastTrack, SJVC migrated workloads to Azure, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, and Power BI, and completed its move to Azure and Office 365 in just six months. The result was stronger security, easier administration, faster environment setup, and better data access for stakeholders, helping the college identify at-risk students and make quicker decisions.
