Obscure Technologies, a South African professional services company, needed a secure always-on infrastructure that could support its sales and technical teams from anywhere while also providing disaster recovery without managing multiple technologies. The company chose Microsoft Corporation’s Azure platform, using SAP Business One, Domain Controller deployment, Azure Active Directory, Azure Backup, Azure Cloud Services, and Azure Storage to build a cost-effective cloud solution.

Microsoft Corporation, working with partner BUI, helped resolve major connectivity and migration issues after Azure moved from Classic to ARM and VPN/firewall configurations broke down, leaving staff unable to access company resources. BUI’s Azure expertise restored access, identified and fixed the fault, and securely moved the infrastructure to Azure Resource Manager, allowing Obscure Technologies to resume invoicing and quoting customers without further disruption.
