Russian logistics leader increases business efficiency through Microsoft cloud services

Yusen Logistics Rus, a medium-sized logistics company in Russia, faced inefficiencies with its outdated on-premises IT infrastructure, including a high-maintenance email solution and complex, costly hardware and server management. To address these challenges, the company turned to Microsoft and initially adopted Office 365 to improve employee productivity and operational effectiveness.

By implementing a cloud-based solution with Microsoft Azure, Yusen Logistics migrated its key systems, including the Manhattan SCALE warehouse management platform. This move resulted in significant cost savings, with projections showing Azure was less than half the price of an on-premises hardware refresh. The Microsoft solution also enhanced security through encryption, provided transparent IT costs, and freed up the internal IT team to focus on delivering better business services.
