Red Wing Shoe Company, the retailer behind Red Wing Shoes, was expanding globally while trying to preserve its culture and support 2,300 employees with a modern digital workplace. To meet that challenge, the company adopted Microsoft 365 and Azure to improve collaboration, mobility, security, and innovation across its retail, manufacturing, and corporate teams.

Using Microsoft Corporation’s cloud tools such as Microsoft Teams, Office 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Power BI, and Azure Machine Learning, Red Wing Shoes streamlined teamwork, enabled mobile work, and improved data access. The results included 10% fewer conversational emails, a 10% to 15% reduction in total project time on a new billing process, and about 60 days of labor saved, while also strengthening security and supporting new product and quality initiatives.
