The Kenya Red Cross Society, a humanitarian nonprofit in Kenya, needed a more reliable way to communicate, share information from the field, and speed up decision-making. Microsoft Corporation helped the organization modernize its operations with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, Skype for Business, and Dynamics 365.

Microsoft Corporation implemented cloud-based collaboration and management tools that let more than 500 staff share information instantly and send field reports to head office in near real time. The result was faster response in remote areas, reduced payroll processing time from 10 days to about 5, and stronger support for managing over 140,000 volunteers, while Azure also enabled app hosting and M-Pesa integration.
