Red Cross brings aid to Lebanon’s most vulnerable with cloud-based solutions

The Lebanese Red Cross, a large nonprofit in Lebanon, needed better ways to coordinate ambulance services, refugee aid, blood bank operations, and internal reporting. Working with Microsoft Corporation, it adopted cloud-based tools including Azure, Dynamics 365, Office 365, and Power BI to support its critical humanitarian mission and move toward real-time monitoring and response.

Microsoft Corporation implemented a digital transformation that hosted key applications on Azure, connected operations through Dynamics 365, and enabled live analytics with Power BI. The results included faster workflows, less reliance on paper and printing, improved dispatch and volunteer management, and real-time visibility into refugee needs and organizational issues—helping the Lebanese Red Cross support more than 200,000 refugees and make better decisions at the right time.
