RealBox, a small technology company in Noida, India, used Microsoft Corporation’s Azure platform to address the complexity of running its in-hall movie-theater ordering solution. The company needed a way to remotely configure, update, secure, and troubleshoot its customer, GRA, and kitchen order applications across mobile devices while keeping systems integrated and supporting device-to-cloud and cloud-to-device messaging.

Microsoft Corporation implemented Azure App Service, Azure IoT Hub, Azure Notification Hub, and Xamarin to host the APIs, connect POS devices, send order updates, and build cross-platform mobile apps. The migration was completed in two days, reduced server-management effort, sped up testing and deployment, and helped PVR Director’s Cut launch a seamless ordering experience that increased F&B revenue by 400% in two months.
