RCS MediaGroup becomes a cloud-based company using open source on Microsoft Azure

RCS MediaGroup, a leading Italian media publishing group, needed a way to support spikes in production, keep large volumes of content highly available and secure, and modernize its open source–based publishing environment. To achieve this, the company worked with Microsoft Corporation using Azure Cloud Services as part of its move to become a cloud-based business.

Microsoft Corporation, together with its partners, migrated several WordPress-based web applications and major sites, including Gazzetta.it and Corriere.it, to Microsoft Azure. The solution helped RCS MediaGroup advance its digital transformation, improve scalability and security, and better control costs while minimizing disruption to business processes.
