Quorum Business Solutions expands energy management solutions using Azure Service Fabric

Quorum Business Solutions, Inc., a provider of software for hydrocarbon and energy business management, needed a more scalable, manageable, and resilient platform for its field-operations services as customer demand grew to tens of thousands of wells. Using Microsoft Corporation’s Azure Service Fabric, the company aimed to modernize a legacy cloud architecture while keeping its 24/7 monitoring and data-collection services running without disruption.

Microsoft Corporation implemented Azure Service Fabric-based microservices, including stateful actors, a stateless gateway, and batch processing services, to replace custom infrastructure and improve reliability, throughput, and deployment control. The result was simpler architecture, better handling of state and caching, reduced latency, and improved resiliency for polling and saving device data—supporting continued scale across Quorum’s energy management platform.
